Cancer prevention in four hospitals in four countries

Cancer prevention in four hospitals in four countries

MAIN GOAL: Health development support

One of the basic conditions for sustainable development and economic competitiveness is the good health condition of the people. The project is implemented in 4 countries (Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary, Romania)

The aim is to develop health services, preventive infrastructure and public health capacities in connection with the provision of cross-border services. By purchasing equipment, participating hospitals will modernize diagnostic screening and testing and increase the efficiency of secondary prevention by providing early detection opportunities. The service is becoming safer, better and more efficient. The project aims to teach the asymptomatic population about the role of risk factors and triggers, like age, family history, other lifestyle risk factors and the need for self-examination. Early diagnosis with timely, personalized and effective treatment gives patients a chance to cure. As a result of the implementation of the project, access to preventive (secondary) services, follow-up diagnostics and hospital healthcare will be improved, thus providing the population with appropriate care.
